Please join us for the opening reception of “Hashivenu,” a very special art exhibition at the Miami Beach in commemoration of October 7 and dedicated to the resilience of Israel and the Jewish people on Monday, October 14 at 7:30 pm. We will be honoring IDF veterans as well as Loving Moms organization who does so much in the community to fight antisemitism, support the Hostages and Israel.
“Hashivenu” means “return us.” The “us” is the Jewish people. It is a cry to be renewed while cultivating resilience. It is how the Jewish People have survived for thousands of years and how we will continue to do so. October 7th is firmly embedded in Jewish history as a day of unmitigated tragedy; what has resulted is an expression of “Hashivenu.” This exhibition honors everyone – those who were murdered, those who were kidnapped, those who defend and those who renew.
This exhibition is made possible with the generous assistance of the Jewish Federations of North America.
