Join us for an evening of stories and laughter with two original Saturday Night Live alums- one a cast member, one a writer- as they discuss their new books, life since SNL and what happened in those early days behind the scenes.
Laraine Newman’s, May You Live in Interesting Times (audio only), is a memoir that chronicles her experiences forming the groundlings, creation of SNL and rise to prominence in animation as well as the effect this had on her personal and family life.
Alan Zweibel’s, Laugh Lines, weaves together the stories of his influential career, from writing for a generation of Jackies and Mortys and Dickies to meeting Gilda while hiding behind a potted plant to the evolution of SNL and the shows famous early sketches.
