ABOUT ABOUT

A Musical and Literary Evening

in Alyssa Landry’s Salon

With Alan Mason on piano

Ah, Paree! From Gertrude Stein to Josephine Baker to Dave Barry…  So many writers and entertainers have fallen under the spell of the City of Lights! Featuring the music of Irving Berlin, George Gershwin and Cole Porter, among others, Alyssa invites you to join her for an evening of music, literature and laughter, celebrating the love affair between generations of Americans and one of the most beautiful cities in the world: Paris.

An "American in Paris" for many years, Alyssa Landry is a well-known figure on the French musical theater stage, performing in such notable shows as Les Miserables, Hello Dolly!, La Vie Parisienne, Nine, Sugar, She Loves Me, Sweeney Todd and Wonderful Town, among others. She was invited to participate in the BBC Prom Sondheim at 80 at Royal Albert Hall in London and has just finished rapping her heart out as the Witch in Into the Woods at the Toulon Opera.

Dr. Alan Mason is one of the nation's most noted accompanists to cantors, Jewish singers, Jewish choirs, and sacred Jewish services. He is the conductor of HaZamir Miami, a chapter of HaZamir: The International Jewish Teen Choir, and accompanist for the South Florida Jewish Chorale and the South Florida Symphony Orchestra Chorus.
